Here are 5 basic puppy training guidelines for you. By exercising the right guides for your puppy about good behavior will make it a whole lot easier for you in your puppy training.

The first guide is to be gentle - He is going to be sensitive and is not going to be able to handle anything stressful. Don't be too strong with him he will only react poorly to it and you want to make it enjoyable for him.

The second guide is to keep things brief - Your puppy has a short attention span. Theirs are even shorter than little kids. You will not get good results from your training if your dog is tired mentally or physically. So keep it short, 15 minutes is just fine.

The third guide to basic puppy training - Is to have patience with him. You can not get good results immediately from your training. So have patience. Puppies learn in spurts and they have memory lapses. The fourth guide - Is to keep things simple. You should teach him in steps. Small steps are the best way to go about basic puppy training. Build upon your small accomplishments. So go slow and keep it simple. This will help you in the long run of training. As time goes on you can increase the intensity of your training.

The fifth guide to your basic puppy training - Is to build the confidence in your puppy. When he is confident he will be a better adjusted dog. Give him plenty of positive reinforcement in his training.

These five fundamental guides will help you in your basic puppy guide training.
